Introduction
Punk Rock N Roll for the masses
Bio
NICE 'N' SLEAZY Bambi Killers are a four piece punk rock band hailing from the bleak streets of Swansea whose sound is best described as punk meets rock for a fleeting encounter on top of the pool table. Lead by Cluffy, who spews forth jolting lyrics in a raw mix of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll sleaze to the baying crowds they pummel the senses to deliver a true feeling of something you have never seen before. She is backed up by Muppet,Pumba, and Bom with bone rattling bass, skin tearing guitar and head kicking drums. Topped off with guttural shouts and roars they fly at you like a punk hailstorm. Everything about this band leaves you with only one conclusion. Love them or hate them you will never forget them.

Q. How did you first get into playing music?
It was a case of like-minded souls getting together and sharing influences to create the band.We all like different kinds of music, and when we write songs-if we like it-we play it,regardless of whether it's punk, rock or indie.Life can be monotonous and tedious. We want to put the fun back in people's lives and leave them with a smile on their face!!
Q. How long have you been performing?
t's taken us 5 years to learn our chops and we now feel ready to step up and gain maximum exposure. It's been a long slog ,but we're too damn stubborn to give up!!We don't know what else to do!!
Q. How would you describe your sound in one sentence?
Punk meets rock for a fleeting encounter on top of the pool tale.
Q. What makes your music unique?
We don't pigeon-hole ourselves. As long as we have the attitude and energy, anything is possible.Plus we love the music we make and that comes across in our live shows and in our sound.
Q. What inspires you to write songs?
Life.Experiences and expectations. We like to write songs with a heart,a meaning and a purpose.
Q. What have been your best and worst gig experiences?
Worst experience?Playing to an empty room when we first started. We've felt like the underdogs ever since. The best gigs are when we meet people after the show who understand what we're about. An appreciative audience is always the best one.We MAKE people like us!!
Q. If you had to listen to one album for the rest of your life what would it be?
As the band has such diverse tastes,we'd all pick a different album. As the bassist-i'd pick London's Calling by The Clash.
Q. What do you get up to when you’re not making music?
Plug plug plug!!Advertise the band as much as possible and get our name out there. We've made a video for our song 'Don't Be Invisible' that is attracting a lot of attention on YouTube. We've set up our own dotcom site,we make our own t-shirts, we fund recordings through gig money. We've been self-sufficient for a while but we're looking for backing to take us to the next level. We are serious. We are dedicated. We also like to have fun and don't take ourselves too seriously. No egos allowed!!We have more great songs to write.
Q. What are your goals at the moment?
To headline a stage at Glastonbury.Appear on Later With Jools Holland. To be on the cover of NME.A gig on the moon. Just to get our name out there. To make people take notice. We're ready for the step up.
Q. What have you been working on lately? Any new tracks or gigs lined up?
We're branching out from our hometown. We have a few local festivals lined-up(gives us the chance to be heard by more people) and we're looking into playing further afield-we're lining up gigs in Newport,Cardiff and Bristol. We're also writing new material and hope to release a mini-album this year.
Q. What do you think of Unsigned Band Review?
We love Unsigned Band Review!!It's hard as an unsigned band to get noticed.Everyone needs that one lucky break, that one person to believe in you. With UBR people are there waiting. And we're coming for ya!!
Q. What is the name of the last track that you wrote and what is it about?
The last track we wrote is 'Baby It's Ok'.It's about needing a hug!!Sometimes when life is askew, you need reassurance and someone to tell you "it's ok-your gonna be alright".
Q. What was the music scene like where you grew up?
We all grew up in different cities-Swansea,Sunderland,Salford.There's always one good local band from your youth. You always wonder-"What happened to them?".We don't want that to be us!! There seemed to be more of a scene if you were born before the internet. Now people download in their bedrooms rather than going out and buying vinyl. Major cities are great-lots of music crossing over and a healthy variety.Small town cities are quite insular.Right now in Swansea there are a lot of great bands:Sleepy Panda Club, Cut Ribbons, Heavy Petting Zoo, The Knuckledowns, Galanastra. to name a few...
