Meu & Teu came alive just after the end of the band “Hot Limousine”, with most of the it's elements. At the end of 2009, Diogo Freire gave the impulse to the composition of the song “Meu e Teu”, followed by “Difícil de Esquecer” and “Transformação”. With these songs the old band reunited for the first rehearsals of this new project. At that time there was no doubt, the name of the band would be the same as the name of the first song, “Meu e Teu”. The band made it's debut in the first edition of “Sons do Baça”, on Paredes da Vitória's beach, in August 2010. In November of that year, the band won the 2nd edition of “U Rock”, with the song “Erros Estratégicos”. They were also finalists in “Festival de Música Moderna de Alcácer do Sal”, as well as in the competition “Rock Rendez Worten” - Rock Category. Anticipating the release of the first album, the band played on the final of “Festival de Música Moderna de Corroios 2011”. The band's single “Erros Estratégicos” was part of the compilation “Novos Talentos Fnac 2011” and was also published in national and local radio. On June 5 2011, Meu & Teu held the release party for the album “Aquela Cidade”, at Hard Rock Cafe in Lisbon, with the official support of national radio Antena 3 and the music news site Cotonete. After a long tour by Fnac Stores and some performances around the country, the band also played at Festival Paredes de Coura 2011. MEU & TEU is a rock band, singing in portuguese, with influences not only from this country but also from foreign ones and classic sounds accompanied by the energetic contribution of each of the band members. They are: Diogo Freire (Vocals, Guitars, Keys), Bruno Cunha (Bass), Luís Ramos (Rhythm Guitar), Joaquim Pequicho (Drums) and Paulo Bispo (Solo Guitar). As they're currently working on their second album, the band promises to not fear making themselves heard and to never leave anything unsaid.
