SCABS IN THE ASHTRAY I’m standing still, looking at myself Opening all the draws of my mind I don’t care, I don’t care Throwing old clothes out of the window Leaving scabs in the ashtray Jump, kill, jump, kill Scratch the walls with your nails You wanna forget, you wanna forget Yesterday is tomorrow Today is conscience–stricken Today is conscience-stricken I’m lying down, like a dead animal Wearing misanthropic camouflage Someone squeezed your neck Stood on your heart with stiletto You are trapped in your own head Today is conscience–stricken Jump, kill, jump, kill Scratch the walls with your nails You wanna forget, you wanna forget Yesterday is tomorrow

Q. What was the music scene like where you grew up?

Groungy. post-rocky indie with spice:)
