Up Down Go Machine had a long old day when they first joined us in the Olympic Park.
As well as giving a couple of high-energy sets throughout the afternoon, the indie-folk fivesome also spent a good deal of the day enjoying roaming performances around the park. Kind of like busking... but with less coinage-filled hats and more intense rivalry for attention with large, squishy Olympic mascots.
By the time they returned back to the Emerging Icons stage for their last evening slot they were pretty pooped- so we were kind enough to film them with flattering splendour of super-cool twilight lighting. Glamorous, charming and in full technicolour, here are Up Down Go Machine talking about their time at London 2012.
